WhatsApp was down for some users on Friday night.  Some users in India reported it at around 11 pm.  Messaging was down in the US, Europe and parts of the world including India.  According to outage tracking website Downdetector.com, thousands of users had reported about the problem facing WhatsApp.  However, now the messaging app has been recovered. Many users have said that they could not see the last of their contact online.  At the same time, some users were not able to adjust their security settings.  However, neither Facebook nor WhatsApp has given any response to the complaint of the users, like every time, this time too many users took to Twitter after Whatsapp was down.  Many users said that we are not able to see the last scene of our contacts.  Also, we do not see their online status and typing notifications.

Some other users posted on Twitter that they were having trouble changing the last scene setting of WhatsApp.  It has become 'Nobody' and the reverse is not happening.

 Let us tell you that there are more than 2 billion users of WhatsApp worldwide.  At the same time, the app has 400 million users only in India.  It is one of the most popular messaging platforms in the country.
